..basically, thats all i like about it, and everything else is on the ipad..

Stop being stupid guys, this is not primary made to surf the web,and it came much before any iPad, it’s supposed to be good at book reading, that’s why it doesn’t have a backlight and have to use eletronic ink, LCD screens are bad for reading!! They have different market approaches.

i hate Ipads but after watching this i actually appreciate it a little more
total rip off for what it does. the current $259 price tag is still too expensive considering the extra charges one will incur over the lifetime use. the apple ipad is a better invest for what it offers.
i do agree that this is the future of books but needs to be available to all socioeconomic classes just like the personal computer. the only way would be through a competitive price point.

@GmodMark Every time you change pages the e ink is re magnetized so the entire screen has to be flushed out. On the plus side e-ink readers only consume power when you turn a page and one charge is good for around 10000 pages, or about 20-25 good sized novels.
