  2. Dean812 says:

  3. roxyrulz09 says:

@tikal111 yes the iPad looks like a big iPod touch. But if you’ve ever used one one you’d get it! it really is so much different!!!!!!! the apps are insanely amazing on it! You can also use iWork!!!!!!!!

  4. vjrei says:

It looks so early 80′s… almost like a gadget from Thats 70′s show.

  5. kellyLvasquez says:

    Ruining the MS Courier expectancies.

  7. arthmus01 says:

    @ferdinmd
Is this even comparable to the iPad? the iPad isn’t an ebook reader. You may as well compare it to the Archos 5 or the Microsoft Zune.

  8. DeKharBachiya says:

    PRETTY STUPIDIF U ASK ME

  9. kidwellman says:

looks like an ugly version of the Microsoft courier

  10. XQbit says:

@lowmax64 I like the fact that it has a book format so you can type on one screen and see what you type on the other instead of an awkward tilt. :]

  11. RavBunneh says:

That does not look like a comfortable to use ebook or netbook. I’m not interested.

  12. tehkill3r says:

    cool concept.

  25. antoniius1 says:

Now this is awesome, much more useful then the stupid ipad. Screw apple! I’ve always been a big ipod fan but all they do is release the same thing over and over again. Ipad = giant ipod whats even worse is apple said there is nothing in the works for the adobe flash update, witch you need for just about everything web wise. not to mention they never give you enough space for anything and you have to shell out almost a grand just to get 64gb of space, i could max that in 5 min. Buy the edge

  26. jensenzo says:

@fafaforza the sensitive layer is under the eink layer.

  27. shorterboyabcdef says:

netbook doesn’t have a 16 hour battery life

  28. plastikman7269 says:

cool but a netbbok is better or even a laptop

  29. akanicky101 says:

    I WANT 1 SO BAD

    lol

  30. 2l4te says:

actually the touchlayer is under the e-ink display like a wacom, not making it blurry

  31. keropanalos says:

jup nettes vid , noch n fund für männer FrauenMeister . com schauts mal an

  32. fafaforza says:

Why not just get a tablet laptop? The eInk I’m sure has an additional layer on top to recognize input, making the text blurier, and making reading on this harder. I really don’t see the point of this where tablets are around. I can put my Sony reader in my back pocket. Not this. So it won’t beat dedicated readers.

  33. kroflinkristian says:

@hoelk: would be nice if the keyboard could be set that it automatically changes with angle you´re holding the device.

  34. kroflinkristian says:

two things that might be interesting: with a following device to this it should be able to detach one side from the other – and there should also be a built in smartphone which
can be detached when needed. an all-in-one
device (also photo- and videocam and projector) would be nice.

  35. DejectedPanda says:

I’m impressed. Too bad I already bought a Kindle 2.

  36. hoelk says:

cann the on-screen keyboard only be used with the pen or do fingers also work? and is it possible to make it full-screen?

  37. xXxDragunov14xXx says:

    Looks awesome!

  38. mootiverse says:

The processor is a Marvell Armada PXA168
Battery Life is 16 Hours with E-Ink only
    6 Hours with LCD

  39. mootiverse says:

Will pay extra if “Amy” comes with the device. As an aside, Entourage headquarters is right down the street from me.

  40. uncola1979 says:

the edge is actually pretty impressive compared to what is out right now, but when it is released in february it could be a whole new ball game, what with smart books and faster arm cpus, and perhaps slate format smartbooks or the apple tablet

  41. puzzud says:

This may be a rare situation where the way you used the word “literally” may actually be grammatically correct.

  42. CiphersSon says:

I literally probably going ot buy a erearder today i wish this was available…
