Lenovo will demonstrate quad-core tablet Idea Tab K2 emerging on today’s CES 2012 in Las Vegas. The model builds on the NVIDIA Tegra 3 hardware platform with quad-core processor.
Idea Tab K2 is equipped with 10-inch IPS display with a resolution 1920×1200 pixels and running the operating system Android 4.0. Not yet known the full technical specifications of the tablet. According to engadget.com, IdeaTab K2 includes 8-megapixel camera, card reader port and HDMI.
Lenovo did not specify the release date and price of the tablet. At the same time the company raised its curtain in front of another tablet – IdeaTab S2 10, which is expected soon on the market. The model is equipped with dual-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8960 and 10-inch screen. Like the Asus Transformer Prime, the device may include a keyboard with extra batteries, extending battery life to 20 hours.
IdeaTab S2 10 is approximately 8mm thick and weighs 500 grams. Running the new operating system Android 4.0.
